With over a decade of training in Michelin kitchens, chef Chris has brought his expertise into your home to create experiences that you will be talking about for years to come

Chris Johnson
Chef Chris started cooking with his midwestern grandma at an early age (mostly because she couldn’t reach the flour), and developed a strong curiosity for food. His first breakthrough was a rhubarb pie which later won a blue ribbon at a 4H fair in central Michigan.
Years later, he attended Johnson and Wales University for Culinary Arts, and began working in high end Denver kitchens. His employers quickly noticed his passion for food and creativity, and sent him to New York to intern in Michelin starred kitchens. This initiated a deep desire to learn as much as possible about really high end dining experiences. The use of highly seasonal, local ingredients, and the precision involved in preparing them was just the tip of the iceberg.
Chef Chris went on to intern at several Michelin starred restaurants in NYC, San Francisco, and Chicago, absorbing knowledge and even more passion for cooking and entertaining. One of his experiences was with a traveling in home dinner party concept, and witnessing the interactions between the chef and the guests was more than exciting - something that is very hard to accomplish in a restaurant. That experience sparked his inspiration to start cooking in home dinner parties for people who want to enjoy creative, local, delicious meals, while also having fun conversations with the chef and their guests. The concept started about two years ago, and some of his first dinner guests are still talking about their experiences.
